ReplyDeleteplease post the chords for anuragam from thattathin marayathu..Thank you!!
ReplyDeleteIt is already up, O unnamed friend :D
ReplyDeletein place of Bb,isnt it a B chord?
ReplyDelete:) Hi anonymous, we interpreted it as Bb :-). B chord there doesn't sound good to us. We all have our own interpretations. Anyways please do continue posting your suggestions.
DeleteHey Anonymous, extrapolating what kirukz has said, we are pretty sure it is not a B chord there. The chord is in the key of Cminor(or alternately Eb) and doesn't have the chord B in the scale. You would actually need not one, but two accidental(not in the scale) notesto have this chord appearing in the song. Although it is not entirely unheard of(see below) to have this I - bVI transition coming in a song, this is certainly not a case with this song. Thanks.
DeleteP.S - If you want to see this transition happen, check out the song Kahaani - from the movie of the same name. The part ("Mera in raahon" )moves from A to F with the same transition. The feel is entirely different.
